Welcome to My New Website!

I'm so excited to finally be revealing to you my new brand identity and online home!

I have spent the PAST 2 WEEKS, tirelessly working away behind the scenes and I'm so relieved to finally be here. It has been a huge undertaking because I've had to do the work of both the client (preparing the content for my website, brand and website strategy etc.) and the designer.

I have a couple of posts detailing my process over the last 2 weeks in the works, so watch this space. There is also some amazing new content for the blog on the way. This rebranding process has really lit a fire in my belly and my mind is full of ideas and inspiration. I won't give too much away now, but I can tell you that there will be much more stuff on branding, design and blogging on here. I can't wait to share it with you.

As you have a look around my new online sanctuary you may notice that my website is sans work with me page. I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't disappointed that I launched my website incomplete. I so wanted to have a completed website up today. I did my best, which meant staying up till 2 - 3am the last few nights, but it truly wasn't possible. Building the website took much longer than I anticipated due to the fact that I changed the platform I was making my website on, on Friday (more about that in a later post), and because I had never used the theme that I ended up using before.

As you can imagine the learning curve was steep, especially when I have no training in web development (that's all the coding stuff). The platform I used doesn't really require code unless you want to make more refined changes than what the theme allows in their interface, and it allows for a lot of customisation. But typical perfectionist me found a few things I wanted to tweak. Thank goodness my brother did web development at Tafe.

Anyway, my work with me page, which will detail all my design and branding packages, will be up shortly. But I'm not working on it today that's for sure. I am going to catch up on some sleep before heading to work this afternoon.

To all those who have been following along for the past 2 weeks on Facebook and Instagram a big thank you! Your presence has kept me accountable and made me work to my 2 week deadline, which I probably wouldn't have kept to otherwise considering the web complications I've had. So thank you!

So what do you think of my new site? I'd love to hear your comments and suggestions below.
