WILD IRELAND

Personal Project - Tour Package Copy

To showcase my copywriting abilities, I created the fantasy tour package below. The itinerary was largely based my own road trip in 2023, with a few tweaks made having the benefit of hindsight.

Overview

Known for it’s rolling emerald landscapes, rugged coastline and rich cultural history, you’ll get to experience it all on your 14 day tour of Wild Ireland. Taking you from Ireland’s most vibrant cities to some of the most remote and spectacular landscapes in our state of the art mini bus, you’ll get to explore the hidden corners of Ireland that the big coach tours can’t get to.

Your adventure departs from Dublin, heading west to Galway to begin your journey along the famous Wild Atlantic Way. Get swept up in Galway’s vibrant atmosphere as you roam it’s colourful streets and enjoy some lively traditional music, with a pint of course! Take a day trip to the Aran Islands where you'll discover ancient forts, admire breathtaking landscapes, get a taste of Ireland's Celtic heritage and snap that coveted photo of the awe inspiring Cliffs of Moher from the sea.

Continue your journey through County Clare, enjoy the picturesque town of Doolin, roam the majestic Cliffs of Mother on land before heading to the Dingle Peninsular which offers some of Ireland’s most stunning coastline. Enjoy Dingle’s colourful streets, lively pub scene and mouthwatering fresh local seafood. Travel south along the narrow meandering roads, to explore the dramatic coastline of the Ring of Kerry. Embark on a boat trip to the UNESCO-listed Skellig Islands, famous for it’s 6th century monastery, and being home and a breeding ground for many seabirds including the adorable puffin.

Your journey will take you on to Killarney, where you will venture into Killarney National Park to discover magical woodlands, the opulent Muckross House and meander through the streets of charming Kenmare. Your journey continues to the picturesque fishing village of Kinsale, not before stopping to kiss the notorious Blarney Stone. Visit the historic city of Waterford, and the idyllic town of Cobh where you will discover it’s surprising link to the infamous Titanic. Next, travel to Kilkenny, where you will uncover the city’s medieval history at Kilkenny Castle and hunt down the city’s hidden pub.

Heading back toward Dublin, where your journey ends, we take one final scenic adventure to Glendalough. Once back in in Ireland's vibrant capital you’ll have time to immerse yourself in the city’s fascinating history, explore iconic landmarks like Trinity College and St. Patrick's Cathedral, and raise a glass at the Guinness Storehouse to toast an unforgettable journey.
