In order to provide you with the best experience and results I work with one client at a time. This allows me to focus on your project and get things done efficiently. Depending on the design package, your project will typically take 2-3 weeks once the design process begins. This of course depends on you completing the brand / website preparation questionnaires and providing me with the content for your website in a timely fashion. Any delays in this will hold up the process and we don't want that! So I have outlined my process here so we can both be on the same page and work easily and efficiently together.
1. Enquire
After receiving your booking request I'll send you a formal quote in accordance with the details you provided in the booking form. Unless you are adding extra services to your package the price of the quote will be as per the price listed on my work with me page.
2. Book
On receipt of your acceptance of the quote I'll send you a design services agreement and an invoice for the 50% deposit. Your spot in my design queue will be secured on payment of this deposit and the return of the signed agreement. I'll also send you your welcome pack with the relevant brand / website preparation materials.
3. Prepare
There will usually be about 2 weeks before I can start on your project. This is a perfect opportunity for you to complete the brand / website preparation materials I sent you. This will involve completing the brand and/or website questionnaire and preparing the content for your website. I will not be able to start working on your project until you have completed these so please use this time wisely. Don't worry, your welcome pack will detail the exact date that I'll be ready to start working on your project so you'll have plenty of notice.
4. Inspiration
Let the games begin! Now we are ready to start designing and this first step, collecting inspiration, is one of my favourite parts of the whole process. I will have set up a private Pinterest board for us to start pinning inspiration to based on your responses to the questionnaire/s.
5. Design
Get excited because this is the bit where your brand and website comes to life. This part of the process is going to depend on which design package you have gone with. If you are going for the Ultimate brand and web design package then I'll go through the brand design process followed by the website design process

Initial Concepts After collecting our inspiration I will then put pen to paper and sketch out my ideas. I will choose the top 3 and design them on the computer and send them to you for review.
Final Logo From the three concepts we'll narrow it down to one and make any tweaks needed. You get up to 2 rounds of revisions included in your design package.
Brand Style Sheet Now that we have the logo, I'll get to work on creating the brand style sheet which will give an overview of the brand colour pallet, fonts, logo, logo sub-mark and patterns and textures. Your package includes the option for 1 round of changes here.
Brand Collateral If you require any brand collateral (e.g. business cards, social media banners etc.) I will then apply the brand styling we have just created in the brand style sheet, to the design of these items.

Select Template Now it's time to start designing your site which I'll do on my Squarespace account (don't worry I'll transfer it over to you at the end). I will select a Squarespace template that best suits your websites needs (as detailed in the website questionnaire) and design aesthetic that we explored when collecting or inspiration.
Customise Template Then I'll layout your website and customise the template, applying your branding (either pre-existing branding which you have supplied me with or the branding we just designed). I will populate the pages of your website with the content that you have supplied in the Google Drive folder I created for the project.
(Optional): If you added on Wordpress Migration to your package and need to import content from your pre-existing Wordpress website, I will also do that here.
Create Account Once I am ready for you to review your website, I'll get you to create a 14 day free trial Squarespace account (if you don't already have one) If you don't know how to do this don't worry because I provide you with instructions. As with anything on Squarespace, it's really easy.
Revise Next, I'll add you to the website and get you to log in and have a look at your new website. Then you'll have the opportunity to give me your feedback and request one round of revisions.
Wordpress Migration (optional) If this is required I will then migrate your Wordpress site to Squarespace so that your existing domain name will connect to you new Squarespace website.
Personal Squarespace Tutorial Once we have finalised the website we'll set up a time to Skype and I'll share my screen with you, showing you step by step everything you need to know about using Squarespace and how to update and maintain your new site.
6. Handover
When all deign items have been reviewed and accepted as final I'll send you an invoice for the remaining balance owing. On receipt of your full payment I'll hand over website ownership and / or all the relevant logo and brand files in both print and web resolution. And then we are done!
